Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards Sunday, January 18th, 2009, 5:30 p.m.
Lucas and Lewellen Vineyards was formed in 1996 when Louis Lucas joined forces with retired Superior Court Judge Royce Lewellen. The vineyards of the winery are located in the three principal wine grape growing regions of Santa Barbara County: the Santa Maria Valley, the Los Alamos Valley, and the Santa Ynez Valley. These valleys all run west from the coastal mountains to the Pacific Ocean, allowing warm days and cool nights to produce a long, gentle growing season. Louis Lucas will be with us to give us special insight into the wines that we will taste at the dinner. Executive Chef Robin Nishizaki and Patrick Kolanoski, Food & Beverage Director, of Eric’s have devised an exceptional menu to match these outstanding wines.
